Thanks for Everything...

Hi faithful readers...

Well, I never thought this day would come...but...I am writing to you to tell you that this is my last post.

Hopefully, over the past couple of years, you've gotten to know me better. Thanks for being along with me while I moved through this massive transition from single to married, urban to rural and North to South. It helped to have you along with me. Thanks for your emails, comments -- and support.

It kind of happened at a Fourth of July pig roast (!), when a friend's daughter asked me if I missed New York. That's when I realized: I don't. For the first time, I don't miss New York. My life is here. My center is here in South Carolina. I am a Bubba-ette.

And, someday, I will turn this blog into a book. There are many pictures, essays and observations that never made this blog. So, something to look forward to...
